Wireless Data Collector

The Wireless Data Collector application is based on the Celeritas SpatialObjects^® Geographical Information System (GIS) framework. The SpatialObjects^® framework provides a flexible and configurable environment for viewing and analyzing geographical data. US Patent #6,343,290.

The Wireless Data Collector application is designed to help wireless companies improve their service delivery through monitoring and reporting of network activity. Features include:

• Geographic view of cellular tower locations
• Real-time monitoring and logging of network activity
• Configurable threshold warnings related to network performance
• Drill down on display of graphical notifications/warnings

These features provide telecom engineers with timely and accurate performance data which can be used to solve network problems. The Wireless Data Collector is designed to gather data from switches such as those made by Lucent and Nortel.
